Your glass service by WMS.
WMS has been working for ProWein for almost 30 years. Until 2014 we managed the large tasting zone with more than 1.000 wines, thereafter the ProWein Forum until today. Since 2010, more and more exhibitors have come to appreciate our reliable glass service. We currently serve most German exhibitors in Halls 1 to 5, the vast majority of French exhibitors in Hall 10, Georgia and Romania in Hall 11, Argentina in Hall 12, Italy in Halls 15-16-17 and all of Portugal in Hall 13 with very few exceptions.

Clean & odorless glasses
We wash with our own dishwashers, which have been fine-tuned over the years for optimum glass-washing results.

Reliable 1.5 hour service
In order to streamline our work process, we mark all washing racks with the exhibitors’ stand numbers. As our staff members pass by just hand them your racks with dirty glasses – even if incomplete. They will come back to you – cleaned and with precisely the same amount of glasses within max. 1.5 hours.
An experienced & well-trained team
Many of our local helpers have been with us at ProWein for several years and know the routines. We assign helpers in advance, usually in teams of two, to serve the same exhibitors throughout the entire fair in order to create a certain team spirit among helpers and exhibitors – if possible, even with fitting language skills.

QUESTIONS ABOUT THE ORDER FORM
Prices shown are per day or for the whole event?
Prices are apply for the entire duration of ProWein, i.e. from Sunday to Tuesday, and include the glass washing service. Glasses will be washed as often as needed.
Can I have my own glasses washed by you?
We only wash glasses using our own racks or those that have been checked by us in advance (!). If you wish to use your own glasses at ProWein (possibly in your own racks), please contact us in advance.
I would like to order 2 racks. Why doesn't that work?
We have a minimum order of 3 racks.
We do not (!) exchange clean racks for dirty ones when passing by your stand, but collect dirty racks (marked with your stand No.), take them to the washing zone and return them after washing within an hour and a half at the most. The prices for our service are calculated on a minimum order quantity of 3 racks.
Does "minimum order" mean that I have to order at least 3 racks of each glass type?
No, the minimum order refers to the total quantity, regardless of the glass type. For example, you can order one rack each of three different types, but we recommend ordering at least 2 racks of one type.
I don't know exactly how many racks I need. How can I calculate it?
That's not so easy the first time around. We may be able to help you with this, although the answer depends on many factors that even we cannot foresee. We are several exhibitors at a joint stand and would like the glasses to remain as assignable as possible to each respective exhibitor. Can this be done - maybe even with different quantities per exhibitor?

I need to plan my stand. What are the dimensions of the racks?
The racks always have a base area of 50cm x 50cm. The height varies between 22-28 cm depending on the glass.
In finalizing my order, I cannot enter the number of racks needed for a certain glass type. Why?

Why do you charge a late order fee after 29.01.2024? Does this also apply to subsequent changes to an order placed before this date?
Since half of success lies in good preparation, six weeks before the start of the fair we start picking every single order and placing them on pallets sorted by stand number so that the delivery of the glasses on the Saturday before the fair starts can run as efficiently as possible. Not only each of the more than 3,000 racks is marked by hand with the respective stand number but also our entire system is geared to ensuring that we know at all times which rack belongs where.
Orders that reach us during this period are potential sources of error and lead to inefficiencies in the overall workflow. Therefore, this regulation also applies to changes to orders that we received before 29.1.2024.

QUESTIONS ABOUT THE ICE SERVICE
I saw you also offer ice service. How does it work?
We deliver ice cubes every day in the morning before the fair starts in Styrofoam boxes lined with plastic bags. We strongly recommend you leave the ice in the box as long as you don’t need it instead of putting it in the refrigerator. That way it keeps cold enough during the day.
Do you also have crushed ice?
We only offer 3 x 3 cm ice cubes.
I might need more ice during the fair. Can I order more as the fair progresses?
We plan our ice very carefully in advance and do not have any surplus ice on site. Reorders are only possible by chance and on request.
Can I receive half of the boxes in the morning and the rest at noon?
We only deliver our boxes in the morning. Our experience tells us that ice cubes stay cold enough throughout the day - provided they are stored in the polystyrene boxes! – and even more so if boxes are placed next to each other.

QUESTIONS ABOUT THE SERVICE
When will the racks be delivered?
The racks will be delivered on Saturday afternoon.
How often are the glasses changed?
Our team comes by your stand at least every 1-1/2 hour to pick up dirty glasses, take them to be washed and bring them back with the next tour. In case of emergency our staff will try a quicker turn around.
I have made a booking online, when will I receive the confirmation?
The sooner you order, the sooner you will receive a confirmation. Generally, we aim to respond within one week.

How can I pay?
You will receive an advance invoice well in time to make your payment by bank transfer BEFORE THE FAIR BEGINS. Our bank details are:

We strongly recommend that payments are made at least one week before the start of the fair to avoid stress for both parties at the beginning of the fair. In the event of unpaid invoices, we reserve the right not to deliver the order.
What happens if the rented equipment is lost or broken?
At the end of the fair, our staff members make records of missing glasses and those that do not belong to us when collecting them from your stand. However, as this is done under hectic conditions, the final and binding inventory is only taken after the equipment has been cleaned after returning to our warehouse. It is then that we send out our final invoice.
We come from a country that belongs to the European Union. Do we have to pay German value added tax (VAT)?
In the case of intra-Community services, the "reverse charge" procedure applies, which regulates the reversal of the liability for tax in accordance with § 13b of the German Value Added Tax Law. Where WMS Weinevents would normally be liable for the current German VAT, the tax liability shifts to you as the recipient of the service if you have a valid VAT ID number. You need to inform us when the order is placed so that we can issue our invoice without German VAT. The VAT ID no. of WMS Weinevents is DE 113853412.
Who can we contact during the fair for emergencies or queries?
We will inform you in time before the start of the fair who your main contact person is and how you can reach them during the fair. This information will also be listed in the FAQs.
